Bingo.
Plus the Panama Pension Visa gives me great benefits. Example if I go to Panama then fly Panama to Thailand/Philippines/Singapore (as an example-which I try to do every two years  ) and return I receive 50% off the airfare.  . If you book your flight far enough out I have gotten $178 round trip from Miami.
So instead of paying full price from Miami to those locations I pull the cheapo and get 50% off. Which pays for the flight from Miami to Panama and a couple months of condo fees.
