I grew up in Southern California, became a teacher, loved it, realized I would end up poor if I stayed a public school teacher, went to law school, did not enjoy practicing law, wound up working in training and sales for a company that provides technological tools for attorneys, and am returning to teaching as a law professor.

I enjoy being in nature and do a lot of horseback riding and hiking. I also enjoy Pilates, cooking healthy meals, and studying personal finance and financial independence.
