I was a mortgage banker working with commercial and multifamily properties. In 2002 I decided that I was tired of seeing my customers getting richer and richer, so I decided to invest in rental properties as well. It has put me in a position where I stopped working for The Man on 2/6/13 at 49. We have 2 kids (as of Summer 2020 they are 18 and 15).
I'm looking forward to reading about everyones successes (and setbacks) along the path to early retirement.
