I am down to 218 and was at 275 or so last spring and 284 at the highest with my pituitary problems...I have been pretty aggressive the last 2 months and lost 20+ pounds adding some high intensity interval training and more pushups and small weights....would like to be at 195-200 range.
Bought a new tv yesterday and made sure I got a discount on the display model that was on sale, used a coupon, and used some discounted gift cards that I had been saving...I was the only one in the electronics area so got pretty good service on it, too...
And to think I had marveled at...
I still have a stable job and keep telling myself that years of depressed prices will make up for it...but going through a couple of 40%+ corrections over 15 years is a bit difficult....I reset my allocations at the end of last year and upped my max contributions and not looking back...
I dont think you put on 100 pounds just watching TV...Sounds like some serious emotional overeating......I am sure something else is bothering him and probably could use some counseling...
I went to my 2nd meeting yesterday....I think the extemporaneous speaking is really what I need to improve on as well and did better this week...I am happy enough with this group, that I will join next time...
I lost 45 pounds or so since May of last year.....goal of 20 more by May. I have been adding more weights and push up and increasing my incline bike time since it appears that I have slowed down in my weight loss...Its been a trip since I havent been able to lose any weight for over 10 years...
Yeah....they did the "table topics" and I tried that also and was really hard for me as I would expect for an INTJ...yes, that is one issue that concerns me about them getting enough members for the local group to stay viable....
They have been trying to get a club going in my area (town of 8000 or so) so far since early summer....not sure if they will be able to get enough people to make it worthwhile long-term....I had been to a few meetings with my sister in a larger community....one of the few clubs that I have found...
