Just got home from camping in Anza Borrego desert (eastern San Diego county) They had a plein air paint-out art event last week and we timed our trip to coincide with the event. We walked away with two oil paintings. The most expensive camping trip yet!

We are boondocks camping in Anza Borrego park in So Cal. Hiked today, then managed a shower at the local campground. Back at camp and just enjoying the views and nice temps.

We will continue to camp for a week to 10 days once a month. We go to the desert in the FallWinter (Death Valley, Anza Borrego and Mojave Preserve) and Mountains in the Summer/Fall. We have a pop up camper on the back of our Tacoma. A great investment in a bug out rig! We can go anywhere up...
