My DH and I started saving for retirement before we started saving for anything else including our first home. I took the pregnancy route to retirement, but have kept myself busy managing our home as a "business". DH has worked for the same aerospace company his entire career and will be retiring in two years at age 55.

Spending time with family and friends, using coupons, reading, traveling, gardening.
