    Age difference in relationships post-FIRE

FYI, I am married 19 years to a beautiful women 28 years my junior. We have a 8 year old and a 18 year old together. I retired something like 36 years ago and eventually moved to Peru. My spouse has worked full time for the last 12 years and because we had servants, I was a man of leisure. That...

So we FINALLY have a SEC approved BTC ETF!

A little bit misleading. It is a futures based ETF and will not hold Bitcoin, will also be subject to Backwardation and Contango. GBTC just filed to be converted into an ETF and might get approval in 12-18 mths.

    Bitcoin - Time to Sell?

Your still better off than Lazlo, who spent $550 Million for two Papa Johns Pizza's!

Since we are limiting it to the past few years, I will have to skip these: Retiring with no plan at 34. Moving to South America to marry a women 28 years my junior, after talking for a few months over the internet. Having a child at 52. Having another at 62. Lets see, what have I done recently...

    Retiring abroad

Retired for 34 years. Spent the first 1/2 in and around NYC and the second 1/2 in Lima, Peru. We are back in the USA now for Covid-19 and the political climate. Hoping to return to Peru in the future, but we will see.

    Retiring to a College Town

We love it here! Good job opportunities for the YW, great schools for the Kid's, LCOL. Good Universities, Healthcare galore and a not half bad Peruvian restaurant.

    Vero Beach-Jensen Beach-Stuart Area?

Parents lived at Atlantic Beach Club on NHI for many years. Well built, by a Venezuelan Engineering firm. Always well maintained. In SE Florida always buy a SE exposure. Vero Beach was a nice town that I spent a lot of time in. They had some good restaurants, but they roll up the streets at...
