    Comparing dating sites

My wife and I met on Match in 06' so my take is a bit dated, pardon the pun. I found Match to have a lot of control over the characteristics I was looking for. Eharmony didn't. I actually found my wife by searching with the keyword 'kayaking'. :) And it's been smooth paddling ever since, well...

    Getting closer...

Congrats!!! That's way more than enough for us to pull the trigger & we're 43 & 48. You just need to reduce your expenses. I don't think we could spend 100K/yr if we tried.

2015 Corvette , On the edge

My suggestion is to buy used. You save a bunch of $ up front and will take less of a hit when you sell. This is what I did when I bought my 05' Corvette 6 years ago. If I were to sell today I would loose very little. Go for it! If you love driving you'll love the Corvette. ;D

Recent good idea's to save $

I haven't spent the time to read the whole thread yet so I don't know if anyone has mentioned this....I cut my own hair and trim my dog. I've been doing mine since I was 20 (over 25 years). Most guys hair are very easy to do if you are the handy DIY type of person. I started doing my dogs coat...

Poll:What is your Car Value to Home Value ratio

We are about 50%. But I like my vehicles and we have a fairly inexpensive house. I have a Corvette and 2 Jeeps. And the wife has a Ford Fusion. I afford my automotive desires by buying used and keeping them for quite awhile. Some great deals out there. I wish I didn't like cars so much.

Percent Success better for 45 year period vs. 40?

I posted a similar thread a while ago. The time periods selected can be misleading. It's all about historically what time periods are used to evaluate your scenario. Also, a longer time hoizon gives Firecalc less periods on which to evaluate. What I do is see what time period gives me the...

Animals we share our lives with

Here are 2 pics of our beloved Tibetan Terrier rescue, Dalai, pre and post haircut. Dalai is about 5. And one pic of my departed Airedale, Rush, who I give credit for many years of sanity in my life. She lived to 12 years. Thank God for dogs!
