Speculator

I retired on January 1, 2002 at age 50 after thirty-two years as a blue-collar worker for a telecommunications company in New York City. I moved to Vermont, got bored after a couple of months and began volunteering for several organizations. After realizing I could work in one of the jobs that I was volunteering for (as a ski instructor), I began working and in addition to the extra cash, I had a renewed vigor about my life, perhaps due to a greater degree of responsibility (which volunteering did not engender). Still being a little restless, I decided to go to college at age 52 in Vermont and now things really started "clicking!" I received my undergraduate degree in Vermont and in 2010 I went to Utah for grad school, and started a second career as a clinical social worker. I stayed in Utah for 10 years, adopted a daughter and moved back to Vermont in 2021. Life keeps getting better!
