    Basic NW and Accounting Question.

THAT is the dilemma in accounting: If you want to make the INCOME statement as truly reflecting the current period, the BALANCE SHEET may suffer. If you make the BALANCE sheet reflect the current situation, the INCOME statement may get wonky. Sigh.

Wally & Molly are planning our Estate. The Trust is all set up. Here is the issue: We have an IRA in addition to our after-tax accounts. REGULAR IRA, not a Roth. Shrug. Molly is primary beneficiary and kids are contingent. IF we both pass in a common accident, will THAT trigger any tax...

Couple of others ... for a burger, In-N-Out in California. And especially a burger from the Squeeze Inn. Sinful, but oh so good. Overseas if you are in Germany try a good döner kebab. Turkish - and the German "go to " for fast food. ALWAYS get them when visiting there.

56 year old retiree from NC seeking advice

Sociopathic coworkers! Oh Lord. You are bringing back horrid memories. What about "training" classes. We had to take them annually. And they wanted to know if I was "engaged" at work. "Nope. I just work here. It's not my entire life." Sheesh. Thank you for the laugh.
