Thanks for the advice. I finally pulled the trigger sometime last week. 6,000 in Cemex (CX) and 3,000 in Vangaurd Mid cap index fund (vimsx). I'm DCA'ing 2k more into vimsx...just wish I had thought about DCA'ing into Cemex. :o

How risky do you think this is. They aren't doing too well now because of the credit and housing crisis. They have a big debt, but they are like 1 of 3 major cement companies. They are laying off like 10% of their workforce, and before the bad economy they were at 20 easily. Thanks
