    Hello

Fantastic! You are a mind reader and know what I meant to say better than me. I also did not know that getting to a consensus and agreeing with the majority is the way to have a "correct" opinion around here, especially when I said this is what I would do. My last post.

    Hello

    1. I did not say he should use taxable money to pay off the mortgage. I simply asked what the mortgage balance was. 2. If the mortgage balance was low enough that I could cash flow and pay off the mortgage I would work extra couple of years before retiring. I am not telling the OP what to do...

    Hello

OP, What is your mortgage balance? I personally would be more comfortable if I had no mortgage before I entertain the thought of retiring. It would reduce your expenses to ~$73K from $90K. I would work for 3 to 5 more years and reevaluate if the job is not stressful and killing you.

    Most shocking/surprising movies you've seen?

A few that surprised me 1. Silence of the lambs 2. Sixth Sense 3. Jurassic Park - It was not scary but I was shocked when I saw the dinosaur. I had not read anything about the movie and not read the book. I had not even heard from anyone what that movie was about. It was a nice jolt.

Is there something else that you like/love more than work that you do not have time for right now because of your job? If yes, then switch to part-time work. Otherwise continue working.
