Just got back from voting. Very short line. Didn't even have to wait outside. Poll attendant was saying seems almost 60% of the registered voters, voted early. Glad I passed on voting early. I was expecting an hour wait.

Is this old extension cord safe to use?

I did not mean to imply that double insulated tools are unsafe. And I also own tools that are two wire, as well as three wire and battery operated. My only thought was dragging an extension cord through a wet, or damp location. The last electric chainsaw I had was a three wire, and was just...

Is this old extension cord safe to use?

I gave up cutting down trees years ago. Well at at rate, you might also look at getting an inline GFCI extension if the outlet you're plugging into isn't on one. They really aren't that expensive anymore. Morning dew and wet leaves can pose a hazard.

I completely agree. It was just the comment I keep seeing "after subtracting expenses" that got me wondering. I certainly didn't think homes, cars, precious metals, art, ect would be included. And I guess I would have to agree that NW would include these.

Is this old extension cord safe to use?

I'd toss it and spend $25.00 on a new cord. And if you're running a power tool, 14 or 12 gauge wire is a better idea. On another thought, you've got a two wire chainsaw?

Wow, it’s getting really scary in Texas - and everywhere else!

. DW and I have given up on trying to keep our favorite restaurants going. The quality of the meals has definitely gone down hill anyway. They've tried to social distance and outdoor dining but something must be going on in the kitchen that's not good. I truly feel sorry for them.

Thank. These are, to me anyway, what make NW gain pretty much irrelevant as I'm not going to win the lottery, or have some wealthy relative leave me money. I really thought the % gain on your investment was a better comparison. NW can just mean you're either very lucky or very cheap.:greetings10:

Thanks...I keep track of everything in Quicken so I can pretty much figure it any way I want. I was really just interested in how and what everyone else was doing. My YTD investment gain on a 50/50 portfolio is 3.3%. But my YTD NW change is 9.6%....as others have said ymmv.:greetings10:

    Recommendations for new kitchen cabinets.

We just recently did a total remodel of kitchen, knocked down some walls and took down all the sheetrock. We had Mouser Cabinets installed and we are really pleased with them so far. There is really no comparison to the quality you're going to get from Lowes or HD. Mouser Cabinetry

DW swears by Guardsman Clean and Polish....Who am I to argue? The cabinets we had installed specifically stated "don't use soap and water".

Wow, it’s getting really scary in Texas - and everywhere else!

Its not just Texas and Florida. Alarming quote from a Washington Post article yesterday. “We’re in for a whole lot of hurt. It’s not a good situation,” Anthony S. Fauci, the country’s leading infectious-disease expert, said in a wide-ranging interview late Friday. “All the stars are aligned in...

What new series are you watching? *No Spoilers, Please*

We finished season 1 and went to Acorn to what season 2. Season 2 seems a lot rougher and not as enjoyable. Did finish Professor T on PBS. If you like flawed characters you may give it a shot.
