    Dublin is great and well worth a visit. I'd ship the hostels and look for nice small hotels. Driving in the city is tough, but easy between cities. Remember you'll be driving on the other side of the road and most cars are stick shift. Nevertheless, driving beats the train. Enjoy your stay...
