We went in June several years ago, some trails were closed due to snow, but most easy hikes, the lakes, the glaciers and things were all easily accessible and absolutely wonderful! Enjoy!!!

Thanks for the info Bimmerbill....I know there was a house on the property at one time  (it was torn down) so there is an old septic system somewhere and I've seen the well....there is power out at the street. this should give us something to ponder for a while... 8) Adventuregirl

Not to hijack....but.... Bimmerbill - could you share a little info about what you did  land you have. My DH and I and our friends have toyed with the idea of putting in power, septic and water on their 55 acre undeveloped property in VT, so that we can put the campers up there all summer...

No, mortgage + taxes approx. $600.00/month, he can handle that no problem......I guess even if we moved we could always be sure that the mortgage was something that either one of us could pay on our own....and our FIRE plans include a paid off mortgage anyway.... Adventuregirl

Hi all, looking for opinions.... When I was 18 my parents had me get a Met Life Life insurance policy, I believe it is considered an annuity. The current death benefit is 38K, it pays it's own premiums, and the cash value is 3K.... Would I be better off taking the cash surrender and investing...
