Hi All! Long time no see!
I need some help with something - my elderly father's prescription drug plan is being phased out at the end of the year. I volunteered to research a suitable replacement.
I don't know much about this, I paid only a little attention to the details when Part D was...
I like it, I bought a bunch a year ago (along with BAC). Later I read that Soros and Paulson were making large bets on it.
Of course, that doesn't mean we're right, but its always nice to see guys with their track record confirm your thinking.
I peaked in May of 08, dropped by about 30% by Mar-09, and recovered fully in January of this year, net of new contributions.
I'm at a new all time high now.
This is a mobile internet connection, Donheff, think of it as a Wifi router with a 4G cellphone built in that it uses for connectivity. Its not relevant for your phone unless your phone can connect via wifi like an iPhone, in which case its just an alternative connection mechanism.
Think of...
I just saw an ad for a Sprint 4G/3G mobile hotspot. $59.99 a month.
I currently use Verizon 3G, and would gladly pay the extra $ for 4G with the speeds they advertise.
I realize its pretty new, but does anyone have any experience with this product or seen any reviews? Or competing 4G...
No database, just the file system. I generally access them through itunes.
I should add, these are CDs I don't listen to anymore, the ones I do I haven't thrown away yet because I may re-rip them in a lossless format at some point. (they are now saved as mp3s)
Ok - today I threw away about 40 CDs. (as in music). They have long since been moved to hard disk (and are backed up) and they are CDs I rarely listen to anyway.
More baby stuff today. An in-sink bath, a bouncy chair, a motorized swing, an infant seat, a baby bjorn carrier, and some clothes.
Fortunately a friend just had a baby last month so I have a good home for this stuff.
I should add, I can imagine there are obvious issues if your insurer only is licensed in your original state of employment, but in my case I have insurance through a large national carrier (United Health Care)
Does anyone know if there are any potential issues with moving to another state while insured under COBRA? I wouldn't think so, but since health care is regulated at the state level it seems possible there could be issues.
I think most people do this indirectly at least. Most of us would choose a different AA model if we had a cushy COLA'd pension then we would if we had none whatsoever.
For me, however, SS seems so remote it doesn't factor into my planning at all. If I were 61 instead of 41 I'd probably...
I work on Wall Street, the labor market is getting very hot again. It picked up toward the 2nd half of last year, but now that we've paid our bonuses we're starting to see some real turnover again.
When I was 19 I replied to an ad looking for someone to 'clean carpets' for 800/mo. It turned out the job was to be a sales weasel for a couple of Kirby Vacuum Cleaner franchise holders.
The first thing we did was set up a table in front of a local grocery store, where people could register...
Wow, speaking of scum - turns out this guy's own brother was suing him.
Had I started this thread I would have entitled it: "Deadbeat tax cheat being sued by his own brother vandalizes bank property". Yet much of the press paints him as Everyman getting back at The Man.
Jimmy Stewart he...
Wow, what filthy scum. What kind of families are these people from?
If I borrowed money and then couldn't pay it back, I would feel bad about it. The last thing I could imagine doing is vandalizing my creditor's property.
