52 years old; want to retire in 2-3 years

My husband and I are 523 and want to retire to NC golf country (sandhills region)as soon as possible. Looking to golf and travel while still healthy enough to enjoy!

We both have military retirement income and little debt. About 180,000 equity in house and over 200K in retirement funds 75% stocks, 25% bonds).

We're waiting out the current market but starting to get a little edgy, Should we switch to a higher percentage of bonds?

Welcome to the forum.

Everyone needs to find their comfort level with stock / bond ratio. 75/25 is on the aggressive side for your age. John Bogle recommends your age in bond percentage or age minus 10. Having pensions mitigates this, but you'll need to decide by how much.
