I have read about how any untaxed SS and tax exempt interest income that are not taxable are added back in to your taxable income to figure your MAGI for Medicare IRMAA. SSA says just line 10 plus 2a, at https://secure.ssa.gov/poms.nsf/lnx/0601101010 but wanted to see if this was a gloss over of the computation. I want to do a small draw from my Roth but want to stay under the MAGI.

Are Roth draws, (over 59 1/2 and had Roth for 8 years) part of MAGI in any way ?

Is your MAGI shown on 1040 anywhere ?

Thanks for your input.

No, they are not part of MAGI.

It's my understanding the non-taxable portion of SS is not used to figure your MAGI for Medicare IRMAA, unlike the ACA Premium Credit.
