Welcome to the Early Retirement Forum, and thanks for posting your introduction to our group.

What are your dreams of retirement, other than a sailboat? You can get a sailboat now, you know. :)

P.S. - - You'll be glad to know that you are in good company here. It seems the majority of members here are engineers, or retired engineers.

How are you preparing for retirement, either financially or psychologically, or in any other way? What are your thoughts about retirement? Why do you want to retire? These are just some springboard questions to hopefully develop a discussion with you related to retirement.

Welcome. Less traffic to worry about on a sailboat... at least most of the time...
