My cousin was cremated, his siblings scattered his ashes at his favorite camping spot. The only problem with that is that family doesn't have a marker to visit but his kids & grandkids can go camping with him.

Cute.

My parents, DW and I all plan (in writing) to be cremated and scattered (in my case, in the waters where I last sailed). YMMV

My FIL passed and was cremated. When my MIL passed, my FIL's ashes were placed in the casket so they will forever be together.
