I just notice on page 2 they added a little extra information on what percentage of your income you will pay for your premium in relation to your household FPL percentage if you chose SLCSP.

https://www.coveredca.com/pdfs/FPL-chart.pdf

If I choose Blue Shield I will pay about $429( less than 2%) for the year, if I choose Kaiser who is my preferred provider, I will pay over $2000 (8%)
I don't remember the spread being that wide last year.

That's surprising! I hadn't looked until you mentioned it, but I do see a similar pattern.

For us, the Kaiser Bronze plans are cheaper than the Blue Shield Bronze plans. But at the Silver, Gold and Platinum levels, the Blue Shield HMO is cheaper than the Kaiser HMO, with Blue Shield PPO being by far the most expensive. The biggest difference between the HMO premiums is at the Gold level where the Kaiser plan is $120/mo higher than Blue. At the silver level it's $58/mo higher.

We have a Kaiser HSA eligible Bronze plan, and that will still be the cheapest option next year, so we're sticking with it.
