Favorite "acoustic version" songs

Joe Bonamassa 'Slow Train' acoustic version.

Since retiring, I've been collecting used LPs, CDs, SACDs...all sorts of music.

And - getting into different genres.

Jorma Kaukonen (guitarist for Jefferson Airplane and later Hot Tuna) - playing bluegrass/traditional Americana, "Blue Railroad Train"...sounds sublime

Laura Gibson "Milk Heavy - Pollen Eyed"

Eleni Mandell "Somebody Else" (could not find a live version)

And girly girl Keren Ann "La Disparition" (Live version was poor quality)

Always love Steve Winwood especially when accompanied by a crackling fire:

He also has John Barleycorn acoustic version.

@Mr_Graybeard, thanks for Kottke … I've been to a few of his concerts.

Here's a great unplugged version of Billy Idol's White Wedding... This is some of Steve's best guitar work IMO.

I really liked Warren Haynes Bonnaroo version of U2's "One":
