Fired! Now here's the plan...

mmm...purty! (Thanks for the link--I did eventually figure out how to use the Search function hereabouts.)

Since we have no plans to live on the road, a van conversion or class C are more our speed for week-long to ~3-month trips. I've seen mclester's rig and am looking forward to seeing Rich_in_Tampa's next week. Trying to clarify my thinking on new vs used, gas mileage vs comfort, need for a towed (toad), need for sufficient storage for some sort of boat and/or bikes, and so on. A few things are certain: reliability and safety features are critical as are 2 extremely comfy seats, plus ability to take at least 2 more passengers, high-speed internet, relatively easy to clean and maintain, ability to get maintenance and repairs on the road, and a bathroom I can enjoy using. With my camping and backpacking experience, just about any RV will seem luxurious ;)
