Move 401k to Vanguard

Can I do this while still employed? Moving from Fidelity, btw. I'm 62, if that matters.

Your employer picked Fidelity...you're stuck with them.

If you know which funds you'd pick if you were able to move to Vanguard, you could move to similar funds until the restrictions are no longer in place and you have more freedom to do what you'd really like.

Think it depends on the company and the plan.I was able to roll mine over at age 50. First signal they wanted old timers to leave.

It may be in the summary plan description(SPD). Your HR or benefits department should point you to where the SPD resides. If you don't care about work knowing, they could know off the top of their heads.
