Reasons 397 to 399 of why it's good to be RE (based on a potential ban in Seattle of microwave popcorn in municipal offices. According to yesterday's news, there have been numerous instances of burnt popcorn, leading to smoke and fires, especially in the judicial offices---causing lost productivity when 400 employees have to evacuate).

#397---Can pop as much popcorn as I want at home, without being reprimanded or stopped!

#398---Don't have to smell co-workers' burnt/artificial microwave popcorn.

#399---Have the time and equipment at home to pop popcorn from scratch---healthier, cheaper, and tastier!

I try to see how long I can keep up with the air popper; sometimes I do pretty well.

Reminds me of a favorite children’s story which I remember it as "The Silver Buckle," and google tells me is from, "The Huckabuck Family: and how they raised popcorn in Nebraska and quit and came back" by Carl Sandburg. There was a fire on the farm with became covered in popcorn.... and they had to move away until.... Yes, popcorn is a truly dangerous and life-changing crop.
