Hello,

I retired in 2007 from a Fortune 500 company, with a small pension, subsidized health insurance, and my 401k. I stay busy with various recreational, commercial, and academic enterprises, though I'm gradually throttling back to doing nothing at all.

I enjoy following the investment and health threads, primarily, and may chime in on occasion. Nice to see a forum dedicated to the fine art of retirement.

A lot of people here have perfected the fine art of doing nothing at all. Welcome to the boards!

May you be retired for twice as long as you worked!

Welcome, good choice of words to describe retirement as an 'art'. As good an idea as a 'game' or maybe for some of us, health wise, a necessity.
Yes, there are some great artists on this board!:ROFLMAO:

Need an emoticon for artist.
