Stanley Pons may be lurking in this somewhere waiting to reintroduce cold fusion. Apparently, this time we may have superconduction at ambient temperatures - the holy grail of material science. Lay your bets soon because it could be big or maybe just a nothing burger. This summary indicates that quite a debate is raging.

This company has been in the business for over 20 years....

The last contact I had with them the grid was the wholly grail application. The low resistance of the wire, reduced the energy losses.

However, only motors had the margins to support the cost of the wire. From the quick look still a losing bet.
