Term Life Insurance

I have a 1M TL policy through previous employer, set to expire in about a year.

I'd like to get a 10 year individual TL policy, $300-500k.

My current Insurance company only provides through employers.

I am an honorably discharged veteran if that makes a difference.

Any recommendations are appreciated.

I want to bridge the gap until my younger DW is old enough to get full Soc Sec survivor benefits if I pass early.

I'd like to get some quotes and run Firecalc and see if it is worthwhile.

I am a frugal retiree.
