I was flying high on my emeging market ETF investment made last year (VWO). Now I am bleeding out of several orifrices.  :dead: Sell, hold or buy more?  :-\ This represents only 2% of my portfolio at present.

Yell, fold or cry more?

OCC,
What percentage does EM play in your total AA? Has your risk tolerance changed? Mine has taken a hit also, but is still within my AA. Still holding here but am pretty comfortable with my AA overall. Good luck with your decision.

there's not nearly enough blood here to make them a raging buy ... as others suggested, stick to your AA (which would have suggested you trim a bit off the top as they were going through the roof)

The bigger they are, the harder they fall.

If you've got country-based indices that have gone up 30% a year while the underlying economies of those countries have gone up, say, 7%/year, the result is predictable.

Having said that, I actually think China still looks reasonably valued since they don't let us buy the hyperinflated "local" shares.    Something like FXI might still be a safe bet for a while.

im buying in now...every 10% dip ive added more eem
