As much as I love Vanguard and their PAS program, their 2010-2020 stock returns prediction was way off. I have no reason to think Blackrock, JP Morgan, State Street or you name it could do any better.

Our 50/50 portfolio is as diversified as it can be, so we ought to be prepared for “whatever.” That’s how I sleep at night.

No criticism of you Michael, but whenever this type of thing comes up I am reminded of t[FONT=&quot]he D-Day weather problem -- a story possibly apocryphal but worthwhile anyway: One day well prior to D-day, the army Met (meteorological) office received a request from SHEAF for a weather forecast on a specific day a couple of months in the future.
