Give me a museum and I'll fill it. (Picasso) Give me a forum ...
The S&P500 is up 8% YTD (according to something I read today).
This weekend I checked my portfolio, and it is up just over 8% YTD! This is just amazing considering that I only hold about 55% in equities on average. The rest is bonds and cash.
[I use the Quicken ROI calculation which takes into account any additions and withdrawals when it computes ROI over a given time period, so the YTD number is not padded by any money added this year]
OK - I hope I didn't just jinx this.

P.S. I did a little calculating, and assuming that my cash/bond funds are up around 4% YTD (which it appears according to my custom Morningstar view of my portfolio), my equity funds must be up around 11.6% YTD, which does seem to jive with the same Morningstar view.
