What Does Label on Lightbulb Mean?

This is a lightbulb for over the stove range hood. The original bulb that burned out had: GU10; 120v, 35w; JDR-16 + C

I assume the GU10 specifies a mechanical base type, the 120v &35w specs the electrical voltage/watts and it should be easy to match those. However there should be something to spec the mechanical aspect. The bulb has to be the right length (height) to reach the socket in the range hood......too short and you won't be able to install it since the hood interferes; too long and then you expose a gap that allows grease to enter the light bulb compartment.

The problem I have is that most bulbs have a MR16 spec , not the JDR-16 in the original. and what is the +C on the original bulb mean?

Also is the diameter of the bulb the same for all the bulbs.

Thanks, Jerry............never would have found that w/o your help.......when I tried to get more detailed info, I couldn't . When I used your link to google that generic type of bulb, I got a zillion other links but not that one.

Seems to be some subtle differences between different vendors. Right now I'm caught between local stores not carrying it so I can't physically see it and Amazon type stores where the same occurs and I can't be sure I can return it if it's not the right product and the package is opened.

Then there's the OEM for the range hood w/ ridiculous price plus shipping
