I've just joined and wanted to say hello to everyone.
I'm from the UK and I'm looking to retire from full time work by the time that I'm 50. I have a few irons in the fire but because of the recession I may have to adjust my plans slightly and wait for another year or two.
I live in the southwest of England, in Devon and would not want to live anywhere else because it's just SO beautiful.

My husband calls me Lead Boots because he says that I drive too fast (due to my heavy feet pressing too hard on the accelerator).
We had quite a bit of snow recently but now it's all gone and back to raining again. Rain isn't nice but it's a whole lot better than snow - at least you can get around.
