Early retirement for pt?

Hi, all. I am 57 years old, working tow jobs: a full time + a part time (20 hours/week). Picked up the PT jobs 4 years ago. Plan to stop doing this part time job. I will keep working my Full time job untill my normal retirement age.
My question is Am I qualified for any kind if early retirement on my part time job?
Thanks for your advice.

Welcome, Jackit.

Not sure about the answer to your question but could get into a discussion of early retirement. At age 57 some would say, it is already not so early, others like me might say, "better hurry if you want to call it retire early"! And then there are the social security folks.... I retired at 61 and do not think that is early but better then than never.

That's a question you should ask your PT employer. I'd guess no, but only they can give you a definitive answer.

Hi Jackit, and welcome to the forum!

Any kind of early retirement you might get will come from or through your employer, so I'd recommend you ask your Human Resources department. They should be able to help you out.

The other possibility would be Social Security, but they don't offer any retirement benefits at 57.

I hope this has helped.
