Hi folks -
I've been lurking and I realized I'm supposed to introduce myself.
I'm 53, DH is 61. We've been very fortunate to have had fairly well-paying jobs, and that, combined with no kids, living well below our means, and saving a lot, has enabled us to reach FIRE recently.
A couple of our dear friends succumbed to cancer at relatively young ages, so we intend to enjoy life while we're still healthy and (reasonably
) fit.
Looking forward to learning more from you about this new phase of life we're entering.
