My name's Sleeping Panda and I've been fascinated with saving money/early retirement ever since I was a little kid.
I'm currently living in a small town in Oklahoma which has been great for keeping my cost of living down. I'd say my average expenses run about $1200-$1400/month (though December always spikes a couple hundred more), allowing me to save save save. I think during the month of November my total retirement contribution (pension, 401K, match, HSA, savings, index funds) was a little over $5K...assuming I did my math right.
Regardless, I love learning as much as I can about finances/savings/etc and then sharing that with as many people as possible. I've helped setup a lot of friends' budgets and find each unique financial situation just fascinating.
