Hello, 41yrs and married and looking for retirement advice

Hello all,

I have been lurking in the discussion forums and absolutely grateful for all of the candid discussion and advice everyone shares here. I am 41yrs young, married with no children, and debt free including the house. I never even considered ER until visiting this site. My perception of ER has changed for the better and more likely thanks to the great discussions in this forum.

In any case, I look forward to contributing to the community here and digging a little deeper into my specific situation and forming a plan for ER with your insight and advice.

Thanks for reading and see you in the forums!!

Welcome! Being debt free including your house? That's huge!

It is such an amazing feeling to know you can work toward being FI (financially independent) or to realize how close you are to it, and then know you will have the luxury of timing your own retirement.
