Hello from RI

Hi,

Maybe you remember me from TMF - I used to post there as bamboo7431 - before they started charging for message boards. Right now I'm laid off and enjoying my time off, though it's not ER yet

Welcome! Hope your unemployment is short, to speed up the date when you'll be voluntarily unemployed!

Software development... I was employee number 6 in our office that was doing software only (the parent company did many other things). Designed, developed the product, witnessed the office grow to a high of almost 40 ppl - and dwindle to closing (the remaining 10 or so were transferred to the HQ, I didn't want to go since it's just waaay too far...)

We share a career choice then. I'm a software developer for a small company. Best of luck with everything, keep us updated.
