Hello there

Finally getting around to the intro stuff here. I am 54 and will most likely FIRE next November. I have around 600k in cash and another 350K in various taxable/non-taxable investments. I will have the option of around 500K lump sum or somewhere around 2600/mo. pension without inflation adjustment. My plan is to get moving on making more on the 600K than the highest bank rates at the moment. Slowly and cautiously approaching that. When I run the numbers it looks good. Both with FIRE and the Otar calc using different investment scenarios. I find this site to be a very nice resource and place to bounce ideas and thoughts around ... Thanks everyone and nice to be here.

Do you have an asset allocation plan for where you want to put all that cash (the "Links" link at the top of the page has resources to help you determine what would work for you)? And you've probably tracked your expenses to see if your money and pension will generate enough income to cover them.

Sounds like you're in good shape to jump ship next November.
