Well, being a financially-oriented forum that's growing in popularity it tends to attract scam posts, and some of us jump with both feet onto anything that smells like a scam or commercial solicitation. Retiring with no money is a rather bold claim; well, impossible, really.

) And some of the people living abroad who visit here are living quite cheaply. I don't recall anyone living in the U.S. who living on less than a few hundred thousand in assets and/or steady income from pension or spouse.
