Hi, I'm Tina
I'm from Seattle. My husband of five years is retired and now I am too. (Which is great because I worked a monkey-mind job for my family.) I'm fifty-something and I can never remember exactly because the number is so high. I found this site by accident, while looking up Bernanke's statement about mortgage principal write-downs. Then I saw that someone was from Seattle, so I signed up. WTH.

Welcome Tina! Tell us a bit more about yourself and happy reading here. Ask questions when you want and throw your 2 cents in when you like.
I lived in Snohomish for a few years and worked in downtown Seattle. Hated the I-5 parking lot!

Hi Tina...Welcome!
I was born in Seattle and lived there till I moved to Oklahoma when I was 12. My mom (till she passed away last year) and dad and both sets of grandparents are still living there. After travelling the world, and living in different places in the US, I have realized it is a nice place to visit, but I am used to the sun nowadays! As a kid you didn't care, but I couldn't stand it nowadays!
I am glad you found us! You will enjoy this site, if nothing else to help you make informed decisions on your future. There isn't a bad idea that comes from anyone here! All of the people here are either wanting to or already early retired.
Best advice I can give is HAVE FUN HERE! It is a blast!

I think a lot of us are from Seattle, or other places in WA. Welcome Tina.
