I am a former NYNEX employee. Started out with New England Telephone and quit NYNEX in 1994. I had 7 years service. I was a vested employee and will get some type of monthly retirement. I used to get information in the mail occassionally since moving to florida in 1994. I no longer get the information. Here is my question, well actually 3 questions:

1. How can I find out what my retirement pension is going to be?

2. Is there a employee/former employee website I can go to?

3. Is it possible to take my pension now in a lump sum if I am only 40 and not retirement age?

Thanks in advance for your help!

I would simply call the company--I believe they are part of Verizon now (check on that). Tell them what you told us--they'll connect you to the right person or tell you where to go online. Worked just fine for my husband and me when we needed info from former employers.

EDIT I deleted your redundant post on the Young Dreamers board. If you check your Personal Messages, you'll find one from me about that.
