Great site! I'm 49 & DW is 48, no kids ,and was hoping to RE in 5-6 years. We have about $460,000 in 401,IRA $210,000 in taxable accounts. House will be paid off in 10 months, no other debt. $140,000 in income. Investments are 70% stock/stock funds 15% cash &15% bond funds.Have been building cash thinking a correction / buying opportunity is comming.Currently maxed my 401 w/ catch up and about 12%/yr in taxable. account. We could save more if we weren't travel hounds.
DW is concerned I'll drive her insane if/ when I quit. I think I'll have a
hard time walking away from the paycheck as well.
Not sure if I have a question other than recomended reading, I've read
"How to retire wild happy and free" and found it helpfull .

Thanks
