joining the class of 2013

Thank you all--I have lurked here for about 10 years plotting my ER and the your advice has been incredible!

A buyout was announced at work and I am taking it. OMY syndrome is over. At first, I had a few second thoughts, but no longer. My last day of work is June 13th! DH will continue to work for about another year or so . I am 52 with twin children who are just finishing 7th grade. This is going to be a great summer!

Welcome to the club. Technically I'm not retired until June 2, but am on terminal leave (vacation) since last month. Hope you enjoy it as much as I have so far.

Thank you everyone. I keep getting happier and happier each day! I didn't quite realize how toxic work had become for me. Only 7 more working days!
