Thanks aida2003. I think the point of mentioning the bikes is i am a bit of a mixed bag. I generally am pretty frugal, i still drive an 18 year old car, live in a very modest house,,, but i treat myself to something nice now and then. I have had many great adventures and thrills with my buddies on the bikes. It cost some cash, but enriched my life quite a bit for some time. (having survived it) . Early retirement is similar? It will cost me a 90,000$ a year job in trade for a more relaxed life.

Thanks for the portfolio advice, I am starting to dig into that. Lots to learn.

Spiff, how did you get 2 stars already? One thing to consider, since you're not in the market you can spend your time enjoying life rather than figuring out your net worth every single day.
