Hi all. Am 46 and married, wife 49 and daughter 17. Have been a diligent saver since starting my first job oh so many years ago, and have also been very lucky with my career. We are sitting on a 7-figure net worth and are making the most of my high-earning years ATM.
I have a FIRE date picked out - I'll be approaching the big 50 - and short of a market collapse (knocking on wood) or a rollback of sensible healthcare availability I'll be sticking to the plan. No real questions for ya just at the moment, but I'm diligently watching the healthcare repeal/replace banter going on and hoping it remains something workable for someone with a lot of years before medicare kicks in.
Thanks and happy to be here!
