Shouting at the Mountains

Living here in what is referred to as the "Last, Best Place" along the Bitterroot River in western Montana, I find myself "semi-retired" and still seeking joy in life, a sense of purpose, and an appreciation of waking up each morning. I am enjoying each day (for now), the private time with my thoughts, my writing, my pets, my yardwork. At some point I believe I must find MORE to do...and will begin to look for a part-time job. Currently I spend time on the computer (probably too much time), writing in some blogs, making (too) little money, and chatting online with other folks who have (too) much time on their hands.

I look forward to sharing opinions on early-retirement with others.

Why work though? Certainly you can think of more interesting activities.
