Andy Rooney did'nt say it.

This site debunks the myth that attributes this circulating email to Andy Rooney Urban Legends Reference Pages: Andy Rooney on Big Cars
Though it sure sounds like something he would say.Whoever did write this piece makes a lot of sense .

I like to read about myself on the Internet.

I've found that it's pretty easy to write something that sounds like I said it. People can usually imagine hearing my wonderful voice saying it.

Ever notice how I have a distinctive way of phrasing my sentences? It's probably based on using the phrase "I think" a lot.

I don't think that just because something sounds like I said it, that people should believe that I actually said it.

And if you don't agree with what I said, that means I probably didn't say it. That's what I tell my wife, anyway.

tick tick tick tick tick tick

Ah that makes sense.

This piece is extracted from an earlier missive that was originally titled "Yes, I am a bad american".

There's something about those "60 Minutes" alumni that makes them poster children for the effects of acute geriatric chronic depression...
