More than enough PROOF of that is provided directly from the source each day.

The thing on Dana has died down somewhat. There are plenty of other events such as the Iraq War, the Mission Accomplished photo op, his use of the English language, his disregard for the U.S constitution, his press conferences, his speeches, etc.., etc..., etc.... that have made Old George W look incompetent. He needs very little help from the liberal media or from others in making him look incompetent.

As for Condi being a genius and having a masters, Good for her. But having a master's does not give a person common sense.

GOD BLESS

President Bush has a Secretary of State, who actually is extraordinarily well qualify to negotiate this. Let's review Condi speaks Russian, has written books about the former Soviet Union and lectured on the subject at Berkeley and Stanford. She was the Russian specialist in the NSC under Bush 41, and meet Putin 20 years ago. I imagine she even studied a tiny bit about the Cuban Missile crisis, perhaps even read the original Russian intercepts.

Oh yes Condi the great!

National security advisor when Bush was heading into Iraq in 03. Real smart thinking americans yes Christian americans are /were going to be hailed as saviors in a muslim country.

Please lets agree to disagree here. I cannot change your mind about the war and the reasons. I want to know why bin laden and al zwahiri are still alive?

Newguy does not hate BUSH! The guy got elected twice! Yes the american people elected him in 00 Gore Couldn't win HIS OWN STATE!!! 04 Kerry out of touch with many and yes the republican play book was on point tell the evangelical americans that gays will infect all of society if you elect a democrat and scare the begezus out of them with alqeda terrorists roaming our inner cities you know those CELLS that they talk about and bingo 6 million more votes for Bush in all the right states.

Nope I would love to have a Beer with Bush go jogging with Bush and ask him why he has done what he has done. Were they his ideas or someone elses.

Nice thought, but you are dreaming FinanceDude... people like newguy don't change their stripes. There will always be 'sky falling' opps, but the Dems could NEVER be to blame.

Maybe all the hot air from newguy is the real cause of global warming? We need a chart. I also suspect some of the heat given off by that French Anchorwomen is having an effect.

If it was up to me both of them. However I do not think that they would be interested in having a beer or lunch with a poor devil like me.

I would only do it if Mrs Wags would give me permission too. She also has veto powers.

GOD BLESS

See, we have a lot in common! Just got to dig a little

Actually, Mrs ERD *would* call my bluff and give me permission. She is also fully aware that ' they would not be interested in having a beer or lunch with a poor devil like me.'. Oh well, a guy can dream, can't he (yea, I know, lust in your heart and all....)

Clifp - saying that Bush did the right thing to keep this person on because she's a woman is a terrible testament to what you think women (who are candidates for this job) are capable of intellectually!

Come on - the friggin' Cuban Missile Crisis? i'd think any intern in the white house would know the basics behind that (oh, oops, maybe not) hehe, but they should

I'm sure anyone smart enough ran fast when they found out their name was on the list and they are now taking from the willing.

Not the issue, she was an intern. They know nothing.

All I am saying is the people around this president are well..... Nothing to write home about. I don't know about how you really feel but our leaders are well poor at best dems and repubs. The best people want no part in our system. A system that is broken, run by the haves, Big Business and such. The middle class person is in it to fend for ourselves. Period.

Lets all stop making excuses for stupid people. Lets stop giving people passes when they don't know something that they should know. Lets hold people accountable.

Whomever's in the White House at any given time is NOT as big a deal as Whomever's in CONGRESS at any given time.

Let's ask this question: What has Congress done for YOU lately??

No problem, her hubby straightened her out, ‘Wasn’t that like the Bay of Pigs thing?’ It was, like, the worst invasion ever.

Wow I said that news to me.
What I actually typed was.
"Fact 5. The Cuban Missile crisis while important, is not in the top 10 list of the most important events in US history. It is probably far less important than knowing the names and backgrounds of the Press House press corp, and the names and correct pronouncation of foreign leaders and government official. I know I and bet you would fail pretty miserable at this task, but Dana doesn't."

Which part are you disagreeing with me. You think the Cuban missile is the one of the top 10 most important event in US history, or do you believe that good knowledge of history is more important job qualifications for the press secretary than building personal relationship and knowing current events and leaders.

I bet that average college graduate under 40 couldn't tell you more about the Cuban Missile Crisis than it was about "Cuba and Missiles"

If this is the worse gaffee Dana makes as Press Sec. she'll be doing awfully good.

I like to have a beer with Dana and the Bush twins!

There is none. The same for bin laden. It is just that these guys are in an area that even the old soviet union couldn't handle when they wasted their time in afganistan.

We went to Iraq because we could and since then we broke our army.

The american citizen is totally wacked out on shopping and has no interest in the war. They re elected bush and sorry to say get what they deserve. This mess.

Someday americans will wake up and take back their country.
