Anyone running Firefox on a new Vista operating system?

Anyone running Firefox on a new Vista operating system?

Picked up a new laptop this week downloaded firefox 2.0 and boy it runs well awful.

lots of freezing and it will not seem to work as the default browser with IE 7.

Looks like I stay with IE7,

Anyone have ideas?

Go to Mozilla.Org and look under support. The common problems and fixes will be under Knowledge Base. Newer, or less common problems are usually somewhere in the community forum. The latter is a little harder to dig around in, but I've almost always found my solutions there.

Saw something at the Firefox site about a Vista Team working on updates.

Knowing how Bill works, he probably went out of his way to be sure this was the case. Have no fear, the Mozilla team will have you squared away in no time.

Reading just this small sample in PDF format gives the flavor of what the six or so hours of video were full of (I watched them all, but they seem to have been pulled from the net now). The guy is a skunk, and anything he could do to restrain trade or prevent interoperability is what they always did, IMHO.
